Cory Sumrall

Cory is the Junior Varsity coach at San Jacinto High School for the girls and the Varsity assistant for the boys programs. In his first season with Forza1 he was the head coach of our 15-1 East team that took mostly new players and became a force of skill and system by season end. He coached the 18 Elite team in 2016/2017 and continued to prove his tenacity for coaching!

Cory was a middle blocker at Hemet High School and he became a coach because he fell in love with the game and wants the volleyball community to grow in the valley. He believes that volleyball is the ultimate team sport and he wants to share it with young athletes.

Cory believes in helping others and is an aide alongside a special education instructor at San Jacinto High School. He is currently getting his degree so he can become a Special Education teacher.
