Lynette Steven's Bio

Lynnette Steven’s passion for volleyball started at a young age of 10 while watching a cousins  college volleyball tournament. Jumping into the sport with excitement and dedication Lynnette ended up playing varsity Volleyball at Paloma Valley High School as their captain and setter for 3 years and lived for club volleyball and tournaments. Lynnette earned many volleyball awards, including CIF recognitions and Perris Valley School District’s Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Lynnette continued her education at BYU Provo and coached for a local club team, while still finding time to play and refine her own skills on the court through recreational teams.

Lynnette and her husband Mark have four children and enjoy playing sports together as a family. Lynnette joined the volleyball coaching community at Forza1 when her daughter and son started playing in the Elementary School League. She has enjoyed being back on the court coaching and playing.

As a coach Lynnette strongly believes in taking the time to do things the right way. She believes that focusing on proper technique and having a good foundation is key. Most important she believe in sharing her love and excitement for the game with her players to help them develop their own passion and talent for the game. In 2018/2019 Lynette coached for the Middle School Volleyball team and head coached the 14 Local black team.
